Asset Pools
VAULT
In the CLP platform, "VAULT" refers to the collateral pool, where users deposit digital assets (such as ckETH or ckBTC) as collateral to borrow stablecoins (CUSD). This pool functions similarly to a traditional financial collateral pool, where users can lock in a certain value of digital assets and borrow a corresponding amount of stablecoins against them.
Clearing Reserve Pool
The "Clearing Reserve Pool" is a fund pool used for liquidation on the CLP platform. When a user's borrowing account reaches a certain collateralization ratio threshold, the system may liquidate it to ensure the platform's stability. The funds required for liquidation come from the Clearing Reserve Pool, which mainly consists of assets provided by collateralized users and liquidated users.
Staking Pool
The "Staking Pool" in the CLP platform refers to a pool used to store tokens staked by users to earn rewards or/and privileges. These rewards may be platform tokens, such as CLPT tokens, or other forms of incentives. The presence of staking pools aims to incentivize users to actively participate in the platform's ecosystem development and governance while also providing liquidity support and other functionalities.
